About Adirondack Retro

Founded in 2003, Adirondack Retro specializes in authentic vintage magazine advertisements, original antique prints, patent prints, and museum-quality giclée reproductions. Our mission is to preserve and present historically significant printed works as collectible artifacts of visual culture, design history, and advertising heritage.

Our inventory consists exclusively of genuine period material—original magazine advertisements and original antique prints removed from historic books and publications. We do not sell reproductions except where clearly labeled, including our made-to-order giclée prints created from carefully digitized originals.

Vintage advertisements offered by Adirondack Retro were originally published in respected periodicals such as Fortune magazine and The Illustrated London News, among many others. Our antique prints include subjects such as natural history, ornithology, cartography, and scientific illustration, sourced from scholarly atlases and historic reference works.

Each piece is individually curated, archivally stored, and accurately described to ensure historical integrity and collector confidence. Our clientele includes private collectors, interior designers, historians, museums, universities, television and film production teams, and businesses worldwide.

With more than two decades of experience, Adirondack Retro has shipped tens of thousands of orders internationally and is trusted for accurate provenance, careful handling, and professional presentation of historic paper artifacts.

Our museum-quality mat and frame service ensures archival preservation and sophisticated display—transforming each original ad or print into a timeless artifact of architectural heritage and visual culture.
