Audubon Birds Of America
John James Audubon released his wildly popular and collectible "Birds Of America" Royal Octavo 1st Edition between 1840-1844. It consisted of 500 Hand-Colored Stone Lithographs, done by the Philadelphia firm of J.T. Bowen. There were several other "Later Octavo Editions" printed, the final one by George Lockwood in 1870.
