VG-: This grade means that there is relatively significant staining, soiling, foxing etc. Most of the imperfections would be hidden once matted. Good: This grade means that there is significant soiling, foxing, creasing or water damage, which pertrudes into the image itself, but still worthy of consideration for a collector.
