Clarence Coles Phillips / C. Coles Phillips / Coles Phillips was an American Artist and Illustrator, best known for his books, A GALLERY OF GIRLS (1911) and A YOUNG MAN's FANCY (1912). His "Fadeaway Girls" are wildly popular, as are his paintings for early Life Magazine and Good Housekeeping Magazine. He also created print advertisement illustrations for Overland Automobile Company, Holeproof Hosiery and Oneida Community Flatware.
