MATTING DETAILS  ➤  We use 100% Archival, Conservation Grade Solid Core Mats and Foam Backing Boards that are Acid Free and Lignin Free. They are 100% alpha-cellulose conservation quality. You can choose between an Antique White or Black mat. We secure the artwork to the Foam Core Mounting/Backing Board using the "T-Hinge" Mounting Method. The Top mat is secured to the mounting/backing board making a "Hinge" where the two pieces meet at the top. We use archival quality linen hinging tape.
